Death is a part of Etheralia, but not as significant as you might think. Exemplars, servants of the god-Etherals, have been given the power to save mortals from Death. Upon nearing death, you will be saved by the exemplars, and deposited in the etheral's Sanctuary, where you can rest and recuperate. The priest in the Sanctuary will sell you potions if you need them, and will also offer you free potions that are significantly less potent.
